Happy Hour Countdown

17 more minutes to go til I can blow this popsicle stand and head out to my real job – getting loaded! At least for the next week anyways. I know I just posted how much fun I was having with my temporary Freedom, but I woke up this morning thinking that I was getting really tired of, well, being tired.
I mean, drinking like you’re in college again (or in my case the age I was while most people are in college because I have never set foot on a college campus) it really does take it’s toll. I might like to think I’m 21 at moment, but this Muffin Top and the Gray Hair are telling me different. And so are the friggin hangovers.
Remember when you could go out drinking all night and then pull your ass outta bed for work or school and be like “‘I’m just really tired, no big deal” ? Now when I’ve partaken a tad too much I wake up the next morning with a pounding behind my eyes, cotton mouth like no ones business and the feeling that I need to sleep until the next day. God forbid if I’ve done this on a week night and have to go to work.
So my long drawn out point is, even though it’s been fun, I think by next weekend I will be back to my regular, boring, tied down, life.
14 more minutes. I’d have written more by now if my Boss hadn’t stepped in to tell me two stupid jokes in the middle. “How long is a Submarine? True or False” HUH? That was actually the joke. Can’t he SEE I’m blogging here? I won’t tell you the other one, it’s too gay.
So the plan for tonite is: Happy Hour w/ my best friend A and meeting up with other best friend M a little later. And then we are headed back to my place cuz guess what we just bought? C’mon guess. Nope. That’s not it. We bought:
I am so totally psyched to try this out tonight. I am not a big video game player by any means but my BF just bought the PS3 and my friend was telling me how much fun it is. So I called Scott this morning and told him to go out and buy it so we can play it tonight. I used to be really into karoake – so now it will be like having my own little show in my basement.
Have you guys played this before? Am I going to be let down by all the fun and excitement the box has promised me? Well I’ll let you know this weekend. Until, then, go out and have a few cuz it’s been a Long Week! 3 Minutes Left
I keep trying to talk my son into Guitar Hero, but he doesn’t want it. He’s getting the Wii Fit whether he wants it or not. LOL. I might have to buy my own Wii console for that. Was Rock Band fun?
I’d love to try out the Wii Fit – what a great idea by Wii. Rock Band was awesome! But it is NOT easy. Oh well, practice makes perfect I guess. I’m sure it helps if you haven’t had like four glasses of wine and a a few other cocktails. I’ve heard alcohol isn’t good for coordination.
My nephews say, “it rules”. I have not played. BTW, I know what you mean about hangovers nowadays. Its what I call the ‘three-day-hangover’. It takes a long time to get back to normal for me. Its like a tiny little man is behing my eyeballs with a hammer. Ya know? Have fun with the new game.
I don’t have any games like that or anything, but I have a bar and full karaoke/band set up in my lair downstairs.

OOOH CSDiva you have a full karaoke set up in your basement?? Thats my ultimate dream. I am a karaoke whore. I guess Rock Band was the closest thing to it.
